Mind + Move

Wymbin is proud to offer a collaborative and unique program for students, educators, and school communities.

Teaching yoga, mindfulness, and physical literacy skills to youth revolutionizes their academic learning experience while simultaneously enhancing social and emotional development. As an organization, we have over eight years of experience working within the Alberta school system and have an established Master Agreement with the Calgary Board of Education as a trusted service provider.

Our team of educators have developed a comprehensive program called "Mind + Move" (Mindfulness + Movement) which aims to provide youth with tools to navigate self-regulation, nurture their well-being, improve focus and presence in the classroom and beyond.

"I was very happy with Wymbin yoga in my Physical Education program; the lessons were well rounded, focusing on the importance of mental and physical health. I was very impressed with how the instructors could listen to the student’s ideas and transform them into an active yoga experience.  The students were engaged in roleplaying that was allowing them to creatively experience yoga poses."
